Prez news!

Kevin Mailloux, the 2006/07 SRC (Students' Representative Council) president and his team are hard at work planning this year’s Orientation week. The theme: Lennoxvegas!

Orientation Week / Frosh Week? Are they the same? Yes. The purpose of this week is to familiarize first year students with Bishop’s: academically, socially, and culturally.

The SRC has planned numerous fun filled activities including Cameron Hughes Superfan; Game-O-Rama, Casino Night with a DJ,CSI: Lennoxvegas (scavenger hunt) and much more.

All first year students are divided into 18 teams from different residences and divisions/schools. Each team is assigned 3 to 4 energetic upper year students to lead them through the week’s activities.

The objective of Orientation Week is to collect as many points as possible by participating in friendly competitions. “Judges” will award points to the teams who demonstrate the most energy, spirit and teamwork.

Come and enjoy the events. This is your chance to get involved, have great time, and make friends for life!

More information will be mailed to you shortly.
